Laura is so excited to begin her journey with the UTCDC and can't wait to get to know everyone better! She has worked in Early Childhood Education for the past 17 years, starting as a preschool teacher. She recently spent the last 12 years as the director of an accredited preschool here in Austin. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Administration from Texas A & M. Originally from Austin, she lived in Florida for four years, working at Walt Disney World.
She currently live in Cedar Park with her husband, Josh, nine-year-old son, Wesley, two dogs, and one very fat guinea pig. In her free time she loves to read, travel, and ride roller-coasters.
