Bear Cubs Teacher (Infants)
Izzy has been working in early childhood care in Austin since 2018 and has found great joy in the ever-changing dynamic of each day. They believe the best part of their work is how every day brings something new, with each child offering unique qualities to celebrate. Izzy loves getting to know the little ones as individuals, and their creativity and imagination shine through in the classroom. As both a teacher and a person, Izzy brings a fun and engaging energy to the activities, always aiming to make the environment enjoyable for both the kids and the adults around them. If the adults are having fun, Izzy knows the kiddos will too!
In 2016, Izzy graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in journalism, but they found their true passion in teaching. They’ve always been project-driven, approaching new tasks with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset. Originally from San Antonio, Izzy has called Austin home since 2014. Outside of school, Izzy enjoys spending time with their two cats, Mochi and Kora, as well as crafting and cooking—anything to keep their hands busy!
