Giselle is a passionate educator who brings a strong background in both academics and hands-on experience working with children. She graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Her interest in working with children began in her early teens and grew into a meaningful career path as she gained experience in a variety of roles.
Giselle began her professional journey as a Recreation Leader for her hometown’s Parks and Recreation Department, where she discovered her love for engaging with children in active and creative ways. She continued serving her community by teaching in after-school programs for underprivileged children and later worked as a paraeducator, supporting students with special needs.
After relocating from California to Texas, Giselle joined the UT Child Development Center, where she found her true passion for early childhood education. She is excited to continue growing as an educator, expanding her knowledge, and gaining experience across different age groups and classroom environments.
Outside of the classroom, Giselle enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and exploring all that Austin has to offer. She especially loves discovering new local spots and attractions with her boyfriend.
