Amanda Castro has dedicated over 20 years to working with young children, both in early childhood education settings and within public schools. Since 2005, she has supported early learners through roles in child care programs and as a Teacher Facilitator in Pflugerville ISD. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from WGU Texas.
Known for creating nurturing, structured classrooms where students thrive, Amanda focuses on building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. She brings expertise in classroom management, early intervention, and collaborative teaching. Originally from Austin, Texas, Amanda is excited to join the UTCDC family and continue fostering a love of learning in every child she meets.
Outside the classroom, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and her two beloved dogs—Milo, a spirited 1-year-old Shih Tzu, and Luna, a gentle 9-year-old Cavapoo.
