Nomi taught preschool for 7 years before joining our team in 2018. Hailing from New York City she holds a BFA from SUNY Fredonia & earned her Child Development Associate from Austin Community College. In 2019 she acquired a certificate in American Sign Language studies and has volunteered with the Texas School of the Deaf. You will see lots of creativity in Nomi’s class. Some of her artistic endeavors include: painting, drawing, weaving, sewing, knitting, embroidery, felting, mixed-media/found object art, doll-making, music (drums, ukulele, piano) & dance.
Nomi enjoys sharing her love of reading, art & ASL with an enthusiastic and creative outlook. When not busy creating or having fun with kids, Nomi is usually outdoors exploring Texas with her husband and their 2 dogs.
