Mother, Mentor, Teacher, Artist, Singer, are just a few titles that Ericka goes by. Born and raised here in Austin, she's had the pleasure of experiencing the old and the ever-changing landscape of her hometown. After high school, she immediately jumped into childcare, while attending Austin Community College. Wh working at a wonderful preschool for 27 years, she received a CDA, became a mother of 2 beautiful talented girls, and acquired love from many families. She's always known she was meant to work with children, especially the infamous toddlers. Nothing makes her happier than sharing her love and knowledge with small children. She's so excited for new innovative learning experiences and working to build strong relationships.
When she's not at the UTCDC, you can find her running "Ericka's Taxi Service" for her two daughters, painting or on walks her dog.
