Favorite Children’s Book: The Book with No Pictures by B.J. Novak

Bio: Veronica has over 20 years of experience in the field of early childhood, including her work with Headstart and other non-profit organizations in the Los Angeles area. Veronica decided to bring her valuable experience to Austin and then UTCDC in 2018.   As a single mother, Veronica enrolled her young son in child care classes and fell in love. She has been passionate about ECE ever since.  She is dedicated to providing an innovative and collaborative environment where children's lives are enriched and the families she cares for feel heard, valued and appreciated. 

Veronica loves spending time with her husband Averil, her sons Bryan and Trey, and her young daughter Kyla.
