Favorite Children’s Book: Corduroy By Don Freeman 

Mercedes was born in Anaheim, California and grew up in Austin, Texas. She found her passion for children’s development in 2013 during her course work and observation hours at Austin Community College. She graduated in December 2017 with her Associates Degree in Child Development. Over the last 8 years she has played a vital role in the infant and toddler classrooms and most recently stepped into the administration role.

Mercedes loves spending time her husband and their three daughters. Their youngest attends UT CDC. On the weekends they are out doing various activities. She also loves spending time with her parents and two sisters, niece and brother in law.
