Jescelen moved to Austin in 2014 from Manila, Philippines. She joined UTCDC in June 2022, with more than 14 years of experience working with children of all ages. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science and a certificate in Education Aide and Special Education Aide. 

Jescelen loves spending time with her family, her husband John and pet cat Billy.  She loves cooking/baking Filipino dishes, sewing, gardening, and traveling.
