Favorite Children’s Book: Skippyjon Jones by Judy Schachner

Carmen joined us in 2016 after relocating from Colorado. Her 13 years of prior experience, and certificate in child development, made her a perfect match for our program. Carmen enjoys watching children learn through play and puts a strong emphasis on helping children gain independence and self-help skills. Carmen speaks fluent Spanish and is originally from Peru.

When away from the classroom you can find Carmen dancing, hiking and spending time with her husband and three children.
